Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop- SAB Theme-Sunshine & Rainbows DSP

Hello and thank you for joining the Paper Crafting Monthly Blog Hop for February 2022! We are excited that you are joining us. We are a group of international Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world who share our creativity with you each month.  This month our theme is still Sale-A-Bration as we are in the final 2 weeks of it. But our twist is it has to be anything but a card, which still leaves plenty of options. You may have arrived from Mickey's blog, and she shared a fantastic project with us today.

For my project I am featuring the Sunshine & Rainbows 6x6 Designer Series Paper, which is a Level 1 reward for Sale-A-Bration in all markets.  I normally don't do much besides cards and the gift packaging ideas we sell in our catalogs, but this time I went outside my comfort zone.

I took several of the patterns and made what is called the Diaper Fold, and the best part is it requires NO adhesive at all.  This is a really simple way to showcase our wonderful designer series paper to make up some really small treat pouches for a table decoration or just as a gift to hand out to random people at the store when out and about as an act of kindness.  I found several videos on YouTube showing how to create these, and the best part is you can use really any size paper you want to. Here are the few I made up for the Blog Hop today. A couple small pieces of chocolate inside will be sure to brighten anyone's day!

I hope you have enjoyed my Sale-A-Bration theme project that is not a card!  I hope that you will hop along with the rest of the Hop and gain more inspiration on how to use these FREE Sale-A-Bration items for more than just making cards.  Click the next button below to be taken to Shirley's blog where another great project awaits.

Stamping With Friends Blog Hop- Monochromatic Card Theme

Thank you for joining us today for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are featuring a Monochromatic card theme.  This means you use as much as the same one color as possible.  We are Stampin' Up! ® Independent demonstrators from around the world who are here to show you our inspiration of this theme.

I have chosen to use the Calming Camellia stamp set which is the FREE hostess set in the Sale-A-bration brochure through the end of February 2022.  My chosen color for my monochromatic theme is Gorgeous Grape with just a touch of Basic White for stamping purposes.  I also added a bit of the new Layering Designs Vellum from the mini catalog for a pop of texture somewhat.

For my card base in gorgeous grape I started with a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored it at 4 1/4". I then cut another piece of Gorgeous Grape at 4" x 5 1/4" and  I stamped the largest flower image all over the background in Gorgeous Grape ink.  I then layered a piece of the sheer Gorgeous Grape ribbon around this piece.  I adhered this to my card base.

My next layer of Gorgeous Grape paper is cut at 3" x 3 1/2" and layered with a piece of Basic White that is 2 7/8" x 3 3/8 and stamped the large image in Gorgeous Grape ink.  I then adhered these together and added a strip of that vellum that I tore along the right side and attached this whole layer with dimensionals to the base pieces.

For the inside I used a piece of Basic White that measure 4" x 51/4" and stamped my sentiment and image in the lower right corner in again Gorgeous Grape ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and found some inspiration to make one similar with a stamp set you have on hand and the color of you choice. Please continue hopping along with us by clicking the next button below to go to the next blog.

Below you have find the complete Blog Hop List for your pleasure as well. I hope you will hop with us and gain some inspiration and ideas to make your own Monochromatic card.
