Global Share Fair Blog Hop October 2021- CASEing the Tutorial- Christmas to Remember

Hello and welcome to the Global SU Share Fair Blog Hop today. We are a group of international Stampin' Up! ® demonstrators from around the world who are are part of the Global SU Share Fair group on Facebook and we've decided today to do a blog hop together. We are CASEing a card from our January 2021 customer tutorial, but putting a holiday twist on our cards.  You may be starting at my blog or you have just arrived from Terri's blog and she shared a wonderful project with us!

I am using the Christmas To Remember stamp set for my card, and pairing it with the Tidings of Christmas DSP to put a holiday twist on Joy Nelson's card from the January tutorial.   Her card is featured below.

This is an interlocking gate fold card. My card base is Cherry Cobbler.  You will need 2 pieces of DSP for the two panels. My Evening Evergreen layers(2) are dies from the Switched So Sweetly dies. The Soft Succulent layers you will need two of and also of the DSP.  All of these layers are put together using Tombow liquid glue.  My Evening Evergreen label is also cut from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I heat embossed my sentiment with Silver embossing powder.  This label is popped up with dimensions on the top panel.  My bottom panel I added a Wonderful Snowflakes from the mini catalog and also used the holly dies from Merriest Frames dies as well.  I adhered these to the panel using glue dots.

To adhere these panels to the front of the card I used dimensionals.  However you only want dimensionals on the side of the panel so you don't glue your card shut.  The top panel has dimensionals only on right side and bottom on left side. You will want to measure how far over to put them so they don't show or glue your card shut!  I placed panel on card and then counted the notches in my dies to see where to stop. Just a quick tip!

My inside layer is Basic White.  I stamped my sentiment in Evening Evergreen.  I added some DSP to the bottom.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today for this blog hop. It was really fun to CASE Joy's card and put a holiday twist on it.  I hope that you will continue to hop along with us and complete the hop to gain some inspiration and creative ideas to use in your own craft space.  By clicking the link badge below you will be taken to Nancy's blog where she has a great project waiting for us.

The complete BLOG HOP LIST is below in case you are not sure where to go next!

We have another Global SU Fair Share coming up on November 5th and 6th depending on your time zone and country.  If you found my blog by chance and want to become a customer of mine I would love to invite you to this Facebook group so that you can join us.

Thanks again for hopping with us! We hope you enjoyed it.
