Paper Crafting Blog Hop- May 2021- Male Thinking of You- Handsomely Suited Suite

Thank you for joining us on our Blog Hop today with Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the globe! We are happy to have you with us!  This month we are all featuring thinking of you cards/projects for the men in your life, using all current products from either the Spring Mini or New Annual catalog!  We hop each month providing a new theme to give you all inspiration and to use your products! You have have arrived from Terri's blog, and she had a lovely project to share with us!  Please use the hop list below to complete the hop and gain great ideas and inspiration to use your own crafting supplies with!

I chose to use the Handsomely Suited Suite of projects from the mini catalog that is still current until the beginning of June, but the stamp set and die bundle are carrying over in the annual catalog. The DSP is not, so buy it now if you need it!

I have a quick and easy fun fold to share with you today. You will use a piece of cardstock cut at 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2" and 6 3/4".  Your coordinating color of cardstock for layering will be cut at 4" x 4" and 1"x 4".  Your DSP will be cut at 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and 3/4" x 3 3/4", pay attention to way patterns go when cutting this!  You will also want a piece of 4" x 4" Basic White or neutral for the inside layer. You will also need scraps of basic white for your stamping and die cutting pieces about 3" or so.

The fun fold part comes in the score lines. You use your adhesive of choice and glue them together and it creates a book bind!  If you are adding ribbon or such do it before you glue them together!  I didn't add any as this is a manly card!

I stamped my sentiments in Pacific Point and Night of Navy for the bow ties.  My outside sentiment uses the Stitched with Whimsy dies and measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".  My bow ties are stamped in Night of Navy and then cut out with the dies for the outside and just stamped on the inside layer.

To finish the card off I added the sentiments on front and bow ties with dimensionals, and added two black matte dots to the bow ties!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today and that it inspires you to make this fun fold with the products that you have on hand!  This fun fold is easy to make and can me made using so many of our wonderful products and bundles and suites we have! Next, click the next button to be taken to Joy's blog and see her amazing project this month. The entire hop is great so be sure to complete it. We hope you will join us next month as well for some amazing new ideas!
