StampingPals Challenge #13- Fabulous Folds

Hello and thank you for stopping by today! I decided to join this blog hop challenge and this is my first time participating in their monthly challenge! Check out StampingPals by clicking the name and join in the fun monthly challenges as well!  I like that I have an entire month to submit a project around my busy schedule!

I chose to use the Forever Fern Stamp Set along with the Forever Greenery DSP for my card! I love this suite of products.  My card base is Pretty Peacock, a soon to be retiring In-Color so if you love it now is the time to stock up!  My other cardstock colors are Mint Macron and Basic White.

I chose to do what I call the Triangle Fold Card!  You can make 2 cards out of one piece of your base cardstock!  To start you will score on the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4" and then turn to the 11" side and score at 5 1/2".  Now to cut the card bases you need to remove the score blade from your trimmer.  Then on the 8 1/2" side you will line up opposite corners of the cardstock in the trimmer track.  Once lined up you will do the cut and have two card bases.  I am posting a photo below of what it should look like in your trimmer. I learned this fold from another demo, Angie Juda and the video she did of this fold is featured by clicking on her name.

My Mint Macron layer is cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and again cut like the card base above.  For the DSP you will cut whichever pattern you choose to use and cut it to 3 3/4" x 5", but before you do place your DSP on top of the card base to ensure you are cutting it the right way for the pattern you choose!  Because depending on your pattern is how you want to cut the 3 3/4" x 5" piece and then also how you cut it diagonal like the pieces above!  Trust me on this I may have an extra few pieces of DSP laying around now that didn't work out! Then once cut simply adhere to the Mint Macron layer and adhere both of those to the card base.

For the front I used the largest stitched circle and cut one in basic white and one in vellum.  On the Basic White Circle I stamped some of the leaves from the stamp set in Old Olive, Just Jade and Pretty Peacock.  I layered the vellum over the top with glue dots in the middle.  I then used a smaller stitched circle for my sentiment and stamped that in Mint Macaron.  To adhere this to the card you only want adhesive on either lower left or upper right white circle, depending how you want your card to open!  Just be careful otherwise your card won't open!

For the inside I stamped my sentiment in Pretty Peacock on a Basic White piece of cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4".  I stamped a few of the leaf images in Old Olive and Mint Macaron in the bottom left hand corner.

Paper Crafting Blog Hop- Prettiest Birthday March 2021

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us today for our monthly Blog Hop!  We have talented Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world that are participating today!  We hope you enjoy the hop and make the full circle to get some great inspiration for some Birthday cards, which is something we always need!  You may have arrived from Julia's blog post and they made a wonderful project for all of us to gain some inspiration.

I decided to have a play with the Prettiest Birthday Stamp Set and Pretty Birthday Dies featured in the Mini Catalog.  I started with a Card Base in Bermuda Bay, cut at 4 1/4"x11", scored at 5 1/2".  My layer of Granny Apple Green Brights DSP is cut at 4 1/8"x5 3/8" and my Basic White Layer is cut at 4"x5 1/4".

On my Basic White Layer I stamped the balloons from the stamp set at top and bottom, and then colored with Stampin' Blends, both light and dark in Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, and Granny Apple Green. I stamped opposite directions to form like a frame almost. I adhered the white layer to the DSP and then took the Crinkled Seam Binding White Ribbon and colored it with the Light Bermuda Bay blend and wrapped it around before adhering the the center of the layers.  I also took extra ribbon and tied a knot.

I then used the Stitched Nested Label Dies and Stamped the sentiment from the stamp set and used a scrap of basic white to stamp the cake from Prettiest Birthday and used the same blends from above to color it, but also added Wink of Stella to the cake part. I die cut the cake and popped it on the label with dimensionals.  I also used dimensionals to adhere this to my balloon layer next to ribbon knot, centered on the card.  To finish up the card front I added some champagne rhinestones for some bling.

For the inside, I stamped my sentiment from the Prettiest Birthday set and the flower set in Memento Black ink. I once again used the same blends on front of card to color the flowers in corner of the inside. I didn't blend, just colored with the inside images.

I hope you have enjoyed my project I shared with you today for a birthday card that you can make and have ready to send when you need one!  When you click the next image below you will be sent to Joy Nelson's blog where I know you will have another great project waiting for you!

Bruno & Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop March 2021

Hello and thank you for joining us today for our Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrator Training Monthly Blog Hop.  We have a monthly hop where you can gets loads of creativity and inspiration to use your products and we are so happy that you could join us today.  Our focus for our hops this year is to show our customers/team members cards they can receive in the mail when they order each month to help us reach our goals! A simple thank you in this world goes a very long ways!  We are a group of Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world who are participating in a training to help us grow our business and reach the goals we have all set for ourselves.  Thank you so much for your support by stopping by the Blog Hop this month. A comment on the blog post is always welcomed, but not necessary.

For my customer card this month I chose to use the Fine Art Floral DSP as my focus.  I paired it with the So Sentimental Stamp Set and Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  My card base is Night of Navy and my layer is Bumblebee.

I used two of the dies from the Stitched So Sweetly with Bumblebee cardstock as the base layer. The Night of Navy Layer has my sentiment on it and I used VersaMark and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder to make my sentiment pop a bit. Before adhering my Bumblebee and DSP layer I added some Night of Navy Ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon combo pack.  I added two strips and adhered to back of bumblebee layer.  I then cut two smaller pieces of ribbon and tied a knot.  I adhered the Night of Navy Sentiment to the Bumblebee with liquid glue and then used dimensionals for the Bumblebee layer.  To finish off the front I used Gilded Gems to match my Gold embossing powder.

For the inside I used Basic White, stamped my sentiment in Night of Navy and the confetti pieces from So Sentimental stamp set in Poppy Parade and Bumblebee.  I adhered a strip of the DSP on right hand side to carry over my DSP focus.

I hope you enjoyed my card this month. Please feel free to hop to the next person and keep going to be so inspired to buy products and make what we have all created for you this month!  You can find the entire HOP LIST right below.
