Paper Crafting Blog Hop January 2021- Circle Celebration

Hello everyone and thank you for joining us today for our monthly Blog Hop!  We have talented Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world that are participating today!  We hope you enjoy the hop and make the full circle to get some great inspiration using brand new products available in the new Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. They are both so full of wonderful new things and my wish list keeps growing.  You may have arrived from Terri's blog and she shared a wonderful project with us today.

I am choosing to use the new stamp set from the Mini Catalog called Circle Celebration. This stamp set pairs well with a couple of our circle punches and also with our layering circle dies in the annual catalog.  It doesn't have any sentiments so for my card today I am pairing it with the Happy Thoughts stamp set also from the mini catalog.

I began by picking my colors for my circles and I am going with Magenta Madness, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody, Coastal Cabana and will also include Memento Black. My card base is a Thick Whisper White, cut at 4 1/4" x 11", then scored at 5 1/2".  My layer is a Whisper White cut at 4" x 5 1/4". You could also easily use the new Basic White, but I am simply using my stash of Whisper White up first.  I also gathered both my 1 1/2" and 2" circle punches as well.

I started with Magenta Madness using the dotted small circle, then added Gorgeous Grape with the Flower image, then the starburst image in Mango Melody, and finished filling in with the hash tag looking stamp in Coastal Cabana.  Finally I added the dots with Memento Black to fill in my background layer.

I took the large solid image and stamped off with coastal cabana and then stamped the leaves with Magenta Madness.  I stamped the dashed circle with Gorgeous Grape.  I punched them with the coordinating punch and then also punched a 1 1/2" circle of Mango Melody DSP from the 6x6 paper packs.

I then stamped my inner sentiment inside on the thick whisper white card base with Memento black ink before assembling anything else. I added two of the starburst mango melody images as well. I stamped my front sentiment on a piece of whisper white scrap that measures 3/4" x 4" in Memento black ink.

To assemble the card I used Tombow glue to add the stamped layer to the card base.  I layered the 2 smaller circles behind the large punched circles and used dimensionals to secure them together and placed them in the mid upper left of my card.  I then added my stamped sentiment with Tombow glue on bottom of my card. I finished by adding a few basic rhinestones for some bling.

I hope you have enjoyed the card I made for you today and inspired you to get this set through your demonstrator or myself if you shop with me.
