Love of Leaves Stamp Set Swap Card Sept 2020

Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by my blog today! Today I am sharing a swap card I did for a Stampin' Up! ® Demos only swap on Facebook!  I enjoy doing swaps and getting several samples of products back that I may not own!

For the swap card this month the theme was product from our Mini Catalog that runs through January so I chose the Love of Leaves stamp set, paired it with the Gilded Autumn DSP and some Champagne Rhinestones!  I hope you enjoy it!

My card base is Mint Macron cut at 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".  My base layer is Very Vanilla CS cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and I used the big dot piece of dies from the Love of Leaves dies to add texture to the right hand side.  I used a piece of the Gilded Autumn striped DSP cut at 3/4" x 5 1/4" for some added color.  I did cut 3 leaves from the dies in Early Espresso, Mint Macaron and Cajun Craze as my focal point!  I used a scrap of Very Vanilla CS to stamp my sentiment of Hello and flagged the ends in to a banner.

For the inside I used a layer of Very Vanilla CS cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and a leftover strip of the DSP on the front and stamped my sentiment.  Both my sentiments on front and inside are stamped in Soft Suede ink.

This would be such a cute card to send to anyone as happy mail and put a smile on their face!  If you need any supplies to make this card, please use the Shop Now link above on my blog to head to my store and place your order!  Also while there, check out my events calendar for upcoming classes and workshops!  I would love to be your SU! Demonstrator if you live in the USA! Don't forget to grab my current host code to use when placing your order if it is under $150!!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Sept 19th, 2020 Facebook Live Cards

Hello friends and followers! Thanks for stopping by to check out the cards I made on my Facebook live last night over on Facebook. You can like that page as well if you wish to join the Live each Saturday night HERE

I decided to do 2 simple and easy Christmas cards featuring the Perfectly Plaid Stamp set and Heartwarming Hugs stamp sets, both paired with the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper.

Both of my card bases for my cards are Shaded Spruce, cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  My first layer on both cards is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".

For my first card which I called the candy cane card the DSP is cut at 2" x 5 1/4" then cut at 1". I layered it on the whisper white layer at the top and bottom.  I then took a piece of the real red satin stitched ribbon and centered that between the DSP.  I used a label from the Celebration Labels dies and stamped Merry Christmas in Shaded Spruce in the center of the label.  Then I took the outline candy cane stamp from the Heartwarming hugs and stamped them around the label in Shaded Spruce ink as well. I then took the stripes and used Real Red ink and filled them in.  I used dimensionals to adhere the label to the whisper white label and added it to my card base. I finished it off with the gold enamel dots.

For my second card I used a different pattern of the DSP from the Plaid Tidings DSP and cut it at 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to the lower part of my Cherry Cobbler layer.  I then used one of the trees from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and inked them with VersaMark and stamped them on Shaded Spruce cardstock scraps. I then used gold embossing powder and the heat tool gun to emboss them.  I punched them out using the tree punch.  I used the large oval from the Stitched Shape dies and stamped my sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. I used the gold trim from the Forever Greenery ribbon pack and added two strips to the DSP.  I used dimensionals on the three trees and lower part of my oval to adhere to my card.  To finish this card off I added 3 of the gold enamel dots to the oval.

I hope these cards give you inspiration to want to start your Christmas cards! Please visit my online store to order any of the supplies I used in these cards to make your own!! Paper Crafting Blog Hop September All About Punches

Hello and welcome to our August Monthly Blog Hop!  We thank you for joining us for our monthly blog hop this month.  Our theme this month is All About Punches,  highlighting all the punches we have in our Annual and Mini Catalog.  We have talented Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world taking part this month to show you wonderful products and suites from our catalogs.  You may have joined me from Katie's blog and their project was wonderful.

I have chosen to use the Tailored Tag punch from the Annual catalog for my punch of choice this month for my masculine birthday card. I feel this is such a versatile punch and can be used for so many sentiments and greetings in our catalogs. I used the stamp set Many Mates for this card.

To start I punched out numerous pieces of a print of DSP from In Good Taste. You could use numerous patterns but I chose one piece of paper.  I punched way more than needed but wanted choices of patterns. I then laid them out on a layer of Mossy Meadow cardstock cut at 4" x 5 1/4" starting in the middle and working out. I didn't adhere anything at this point, I just lined them up how I wanted. I left a thin border of the green showing between each one. Once happy, I then used Tombow liquid glue to adhere them, again working out from the middle.  I trimmed the excess of once all were glued down.

I took the mossy meadow layer and added it to a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Soft Suede.  I then adhered that to my card base of crumb cake which is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". I stamped the sentiment from Many Mates on Crumb Cake and punched it out with the punch as well.

For my inside layer I used a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla and stamped my sentiment in Soft Suede. I took 3 more of my punched pieces of DSP and lined them on the bottom, and cut the excess off as well. And then adhered the layer to my card base.

I hope you have enjoyed hopping with us this month.  Below this you can click the image to go to Sandra's blog where another wonderful project awaits you!  Please join us next month as we feature all things fall in the two current catalogs.
