July Paper Crafting Blog Hop featuring Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Hello and Welcome to our July Monthly Paper Crafting Blog Hop!  Thank you for hopping with us; we are glad to have you here.  Our theme for this month is our wonderful Designer Series Papers (DSP) in the new Annual Catalog.  We have talented Independent Stampin' Up! ® Demonstrators from around the world that are all participating this month and again are so glad you are joining us! You will see many samples and projects and cards using our DSP in this month's blog. You may have arrived from Terri's  blog and her project was wonderful!

For my card today, I decided to do a Tri-Fold card, so I had more options to showcase the DSP.  I used 2 different packs of DSP, one being the Flowers for Every Season 6x6 DSP and the other one being the 2020-2022 In-Colors 6x6 DSP.  I am pairing it with the Timeless Tulips DSP and a card base in Magenta Madness. I also included Beautiful Friendship for a sentiment and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies as well.

My measurements for the card and layers as is as follows:  Card base is Magenta Madness cut at 5 1/2" x 11", scored at 4 1/4", 7" and 9 3/4".  My DSP layers are cut at 4"x5 1/4", 2 1/2"x 5 1/4", and 1"x 5 1/4". I also have a piece of whisper white cut at 2 1/2"x 5 1/4" for stamping.  You will also needs scraps of whisper white and just jade for your die cuts.  There is not much room for a message so if you wish you could add a whisper white of 4"x 5 1/4" on the back side to write a message! :)

I simply layered the DSP pieces with side of my choice to the panels, and the whisper white one as well after stamping of course! Inks I used were Just Jade and Magenta Madness and Memento Black.  I added a piece of Misty Moonlight Ribbon to the front panel in a knot.  The die cut layers are just jade and whisper white, and I stamped in Memento Black and then stamped off 2 times before adding the tulip in magenta madness on the sentiment as well.  Dimensionals only go on very edge by the ribbon so the card will open! To finish I simply added a few of the gilded gems to add a pop!

Brand New In-Colors 2020-2022 with Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am happy you are here and taking a look at what I have created for you today. Today I am pairing all 5 brand new In-Colors for 2020-2022 with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set for my customer thank you cards this month.

I started with the basic card base which is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".  I then added a piece of the coordinating In-Color DSP in each of the base colors alternating patterns.  These are cut at 2 1/2" x 6" and then trimmed once adhered for accurate measurement.

I then cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock at 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and stamped the big sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers set in each of the 5 new In-Colors. I then adhered that to the card using Tombow glue.

For the Sentiment I used the Celebrate Sunflowers set and used "Thanks a Bunch" as these are easy to duplicate and are my customer thank you cards for June.  I used the triple banner punch to flag the end and stamped in Memento Black Ink! I know this is on back order right now so you could easily stamp it in the In-Color colors as well on Whisper White.

For embellishments I used each fo the new In-Color ribbons and enamel dots.

I hope you enjoy my cards. If you don't have a current Stampin' Up! demonstrator and love this cards and supplies I would love to help you.
