Here is the card that I have made for our hop today! It features the Broadway Birthday Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog along with the DSP from the Mini Catalog from Bonanza Birthday. I hope you enjoy this simple birthday card that can easily be re-created.

So for my card today I started with a card base in Daffodil Delight, just a half a sheet of our standard sized cardstock cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  I then used a layer of the Birthday Bonanza DSP cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for my layer on the front, same size of Bermuda Bay on inside. Both my Whisper White pieces are 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped in Coastal Cabana and Memento Black ink and then added Basic Rhinestones and Bermuda Bay Striped Ribbon to the front.  If you are needing any supplies, and reside in the USA and don't currently have a demonstrator, I would love for you to shop with me HERE. Saturday Night Spotlight March 7, 2020 Modern Heart Stamp Set

Hello crafters! I am happy to bring you the Modern Heart Stamp Set from the Annual Catalog for this Saturday Night Spotlight Facebook live.  This stamp set was designed by a $1 Million achiever, Steffi Helmschrott and I have had my eye on it since the catalog went live.

I have created 3 beautiful cards, all Thank you cards, but for the beginner, casual and avid crafter in mind.  I hope you enjoy my cards and if you need to purchase this stamp set, please visit my shop now link on my blog main page or visit My Store HERE. All supplies I used tonight can be purchased through my store online. All measurements will be listed at end of this blog to make each card.

Look for more projects coming from me using this stamp set, paired with others, as it is such a versatile set. I only used 2 card colors tonight, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch, both In-Colors that will be retiring this June. So stock up now if you need them and love them like me.

For the beginner card I simply stamped the Thank you Sentiment in Lovely Lipstick all over the whisper white layer, and added in the small heart in Pineapple Punch to fill it in.  I layered that on Pineapple Punch and adhered to the Lovely Lipstick card base.

For the casual card, I stamped the large heart image in Lovely Lipstick, and then took the single watercolor image and stamped it in Pineapple Punch all the way up the heart without re-inking for the Ombre affect.  I added a piece of Black Satin Ribbon and punched the Thank you sentiment using a 1 1/2" circle punch.  I added a few Basic Rhinestones for some bling as well.
\\

For the avid crafter card, I decided to do a watercolor wash so I used the glimmer whisper white cardstock for this as it handles the water a bit better.  I used Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick starting with Pineapple punch and going back if need be.  I then used the small solid heart in each color and added a few of each color.  For the big heart, I used Vellum cardstock, and heat embossed with the black glitter embossing powder and fussy cut it.  For the sentiment, I used the Stitched Nested Label dies on the glimmer cardstock and heat embossed that as well and  colored the heart with the Dark Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blend, as well as the basic rhinestones for bling. I again used the satin ribbon to tie a knot around both layers.
All the insides of the cards are the same and simply three of the small hearts in the same ink colors or cardstock used.

Here are the measurements of the cards:
1. Lovely Lipstick card base cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4" for all 3 cards.
2. Pineapple Punch layer is 4" x 5 1/4" for all three cards.
3. Whisper White is 3 3/4" x 5" on all 3 cards (avid is glimmer).
4. Whisper white inside is 4" x 5 1/4" on all 3 cards.
5. About 4 1/2" ribbon for casual card, about 14" for avid card.
6. A soap of whisper white for casual card, a scrap of glimmer white for avid card, and vellum for big heart for avid card.

I hop you enjoyed these cards, and I look forward to seeing you again next week for another Saturday Night Spotlight.

March Swap Card Happy Birthday to You SAB Stamp Set

Hello everyone and welcome to a new blog!  Today I made a card featuring the Sale-A-Bration set called Happy Birthday to You, available until March 31, 2020 or until supplies last.  I made this for a Demonstrator swap I am part of for the March card!  I absolutely love this stamp set and will be sad to see it go at the end of the month.

The colors I used for this card are Blackberry Bliss for the card base, Gray Granite for the card base layer, Bermuda Bay as a layer and Whisper White for the cake and inside layer. I really ended up liking this combo together.

I used several Stampin' Blends to color the cake image and used light and dark combos of all. I then finished off by adding some Wink of Stella to make it shimmer.  I used Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay.

I used the Subtle embossing folder for the Gray Granite layer, the Stitched Rectangle Dies for the Bermuda Bay piece and the NEW Stitched so Sweetly Dies from the Mini catalog for the whisper white piece on the front.  I colored by basic Rhinestones with blends and added those to the front at the end.  I also added the striped Bermuda Bay ribbon to the cake piece and then popped those layers up with dimensionals.

The inside I simply used the sentiments from the set and stamped them in Memento Black Ink and Bermuda Bay ink.
I hope you enjoyed this card.  If you want to earn this Stamp Set FREE simply place a $50 order and select it as your FREE Sale-A-Bration set.  You could select the coordinating dies for the cake set as part of your $50 order to help earn the stamp set free.  Feel free to shop my store HERE.

All measurements for the card are as follows:
1. Blackberry Bliss card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
2. Gray Granite layer is 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
3. Whisper white inside layer is 4" x 5 1/4", scrap for scalloped die on front(about 3 1/4")
