Pop Of Petals Saturday Night Spotlight Stamping

Hello Stampers and Crafters and thank you for stopping by my blog.  Each Saturday night I go live on my Facebook business page StampWithKrissi and I do Saturday Night Spotlight.  This past Saturday I used the Stamp Set Pop of Petals from the Annual Catalog and for my Sentiments I used Strong & Beautiful also from the Annual Catalog.  All of these products and images used are © Stampin' Up! and can be purchased through me.

I do three cards during my live using the same set or sets, and I do a beginner card for new stampers or what is called a simple stamping card, then for the 2nd card I add a few things for the casual crafter for who may have more supplies, and the 3rd card I add even more for the avid crafter who has all sorts of supplies.

My color theme for these cards are all from the 2018-2020 In Colors and those will retire this June! I am sad to see them go as I love the vibrant colors. Other products I used were the decorative masks, stitched nested label dies, the leaf punch and some ribbon and basic rhinestone jewels.

I hope you enjoy my cards and if you wish to recreate them the directions are below the cards.

1. All card bases Pineapple Punch and are cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 inches.
2. The layers are blueberry bushel which is cut at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches, and the whisper white layer is 4 x 5 1/4 inches for both outside and inside.
3. I used scraps of whisper white to cut my stitched label die and also to stamp the flowers and punch them out with the coordinating punch.
4.  To sponge the ink on the whisper white layer I used the decorative mask and sponged with ink from the in-colors.
5. I used tombow glue for my layers, and dimensionals for the labels and flowers.

All products can be purchased using the shop now button on my blog or be clicking HERE to be directed to my shopping page.

Happy Stampin' everyone, if you enjoyed my cards, please feel free to CASE with proper credit and also shop and make your own!

Saturday Night Spotlight Floral Essence Suite

Hello Stampers. Thanks for checking out my blog! I love when you come to visit and leave a comment. Tonight on my Facebook live I featured my new Saturday Night Spotlight and my stamp sets of choice tonight were the Floral Essence Suite and the Sending You Thoughts from Sale-A-Bration.

My local newspaper ran an ad today asking for 100 birthday cards for a local woman turning 100 on Feb. 5th so I thought why not send her a homemade card.

My card base is Pretty Peacock, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.  I then layered another Pretty Peacock that is 4 x 5/14, but I ran it through the big shot using the Subtle Embossing folder.  My DSP is from the Perennial Essence DSP and it measure 3 3/4 x 5.  Below are the stamp sets and punches I used to make this beautiful card. Also are the papers I used.

I heat embossed the flowers using white embossing powder on the Perennial Essence Vellum.  Only the top layer is embossed, and the flower is punched 3 times, and the leaves are also from the vellum.

I then added a s3/4" strip of old olive, but sponged it to add some depth to the DSP layer.  My sentiment on the outside is stamped in Blueberry Bushel and also sponged.  I used the Tailored Tag punch to flag my end.

I also used the Petal Pink 5/8" organdy striped ribbon behind my flowers.

For the inside my layer of Whisper White is 4 x 5 1/4, sponged and stamped with Blueberry Bushel. The flower is stamped off Petal Pink.

I sure do hope this wonderful lady loves her birthday card to celebrate her 100th year of life! What a feat.

If you want to send her a card let me know and I will get you the address.

If you want to purchase the Floral Essence suite and earn the Sending you Thoughts sets FREE, please shop HERE.

Happy Birthday to You SAB Set

The Happy Birthday to you set that you can earn FREE with a $50 purchase is a wonderful set to use our Stampin' Blends alcohol based markers with.  The color combinations are nearly endless, and when colored with the blends just pop that cake and flowers!

For this card I chose to use 3 different colors of stampin' blends in both light and dark.  I used calypso coral for the flower colors, mango melody for the buds and pool party to color the cake.  The cake stand is colored with highland heather blends. Here is a close up picture so you can see the details the blends give especially in the flowers.

I added a layer of basic black to add a pop behind the cake.  The basic black layer is adhered to the base with dimensionals.

To finish the card I used our metallic silver edged ribbon and added a few basic rhinestones to give it some bling.  All stamping is done with the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Measurements for cards as are follows:
1. Card base is highland heather, cut at 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2".
2. Basic black layer is cut at 4" x 5 1/4".
3. Whisper white outside layer is 3 3/4" x 5", and inside layer is 4" x 5 1/4".

Feel free to shop my store for any products you may need, and hit the $50 mark prior to shipping and taxes and add this beautiful set for free.  Also, next month, starting 3 February you will be able to purchase coordinating dies to cut this cake out! Shop my store here.

Sending You Thoughts SAB Set Birthday Card

Hello everyone. I have really had fun playing with the new sets in the mini and Sale-A-Bration (SAB) catalogs these past few days.

One of my favorite sets in the Sale-A-Bration catalog you can earn for free when you spend $50 before taxes and shipping is the Sending You Thoughts set, as it is all sentiments!!!! And well let's face it, who doesn't love sentiments stamps for their cards??

I participate each month in a swap group with a group of ladies through a Facebook group and I believe we are going on close to a year now of swapping with each other! It is so much fun!!! I love receiving happy mail each month, and we are all understanding when life happens and cards don't get done and sent on time, so we have flexibility which I love!

This month I decided to pair the NEW SAB set Sending you Thoughts with a favorite from the Annual Catalog, which is To a Wild Rose.

I used the colors of Grapefruit Grove for my card base and roses, and balmy blue as a layer on my whisper white, as well as a piece of basic black for a layering piece as well.

My card base is cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".  The basic black piece is cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", and the whisper white is 4" x 5 1/4" for the both the front and inside. I then used the Stitched Nested Label dies and heat embossed the happy birthday sentiment on it using the shimmer black embossing powder.

For the balmy blue layer, I sponged it on using a makeup brush and balmy blue ink with one of the decorative masks from the holiday catalog, which is carrying over. I did not do the entire piece, just the middle section.

For the leaves, I used my stash of foliage pieces I have pre-cut and therefore these cards came together quickly after I stamped and die cut all the roses, 2 per card and 8 cards!  I suggest to everyone to spend an afternoon punching and die cutting these foliage pieces, as it really helps make cards quicker when you have them on hand.  I simply store them in an empty stamp container. Here is a picture. I will have to spend another afternoon soon and replenish some of my stock and colors after this card.

To finish the card off I used the basic rhinestones, and colored a few with the black Stampin' blends and left a few just plain.

I hope you enjoy this card and thank you for stopping by my blog.  Remember if you want to make this card, head to my store and order your sets at http://stampwithkrissi.stampinup.net or click the shopping link on the main page of my blog.

Happy Stampin'

Masculine Birthday Card Clubhouse Suite Mini Catalog

Today I created a masculine birthday card using the new Clubhouse suite by Stampin' Up! ® that will be available for purchase on January 3, 2020.  It is going to be such a great set for those masculine cards that we all need, especially if we have golfers in our network of friends and family that are men!

I am using this card for an upcoming Shoebox swap with fellow demonstrators so we can all have several samples of new stamp sets that we can use in our classes and to show our customers because we can't buy it all!

I have several golfers in my family, so this set was a must own for me and I will use it often for cards for all the men in my life.  I cannot wait to play more with it and see what others do with this set as well!

My main colors for this card are Poppy Parade for the card base, gray granite for the first layer that I embossed with the new Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder, and whisper white for the inside layer.  I also used the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the country club twine that comes in the suite.

Shop with me starting January 3rd, 2020 to get all these products to make a card like this for all the men in your life.

https://stampwithkrissi.stampinup.net

I hope you enjoy this card that I made using this new suite available on January 3, 2020.

My measurements are as follows:
1. Poppy Parade cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4".
2. Gray Granite cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and embossed.
3. DSP cut at 1 1/4" x 5 3/8" and adhered to gray granite piece.
4. Whisper White for inside piece is 4 x 5 1/4" and then scraps of white for the golf clubs and ball with tee for big shot.
5. A scrap of Crushed Curry punched with Tailored Tag punch for sentiment.
